Because our event is a historical re-enactment, many educators will excuse the absence of your school-age child while attending the drive.  It is recommended that school-age youngsters keep a journal and report back to fellow students and teachers on their adventures during this wonderful re-enactment.  We provide this letter for you to show your child’s instructors such that they may allow the students this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.  Please let us know if your child’s school requires additional information, we will be happy to provide whatever is required.
